How do I find company subsidiaries?

Use the database:

  • ORBIS . Search by the company name and then click on Ownership Data, subsidiaries and branch location, current subsidiaries. To Screen for companies by number of subsidiaries click on Ownership Data, companies owning a subsidiary, no. of subsidiaries. Select your range and click OK. Click view list of results. From the right menu clickList format, new format, size & group information, no. of recorded subsidiaries and click OK.

  • Business Insights Essentials Search by the company name and then click on Company History from the left bar.

  • OSIRIS Search by company name and then click on the subsidiaries tab from the left side bar.

  • Thomson One Search by company name and click on company overview, share ownership, ownership summary.

  • Also try the print source, Directory of Corporate Affiliations, available in the Business and Economics Library.
