Where can I find a collection of historical annual reports (pre-1960)?

  • ProQuest historical annual reports:  Type company name and search. Narrow your results from the options available on the right bar
  • Nexis Uni : Search By Content Type and select SEC Filings.
  • LSEG workspaceTo access the LSEG Workspace database, register for an account with your Columbia University email address is required. After registration log on and search for your company and click on Filings tab.
  • Marvyn Scudder collection of Corporate Documents, 1827-1950  is stored in Rare Book & Manuscript Library. The list of corporate names are available through the Finding aid. For more information contact rbml@columbia.edu for more information. 
  • Digitized Annual Reports  For a selected collection of digitized annual reports for New York City companies, consult the Columbia Historical Corporate Reports Online Collection.
  • Annual Reports at Academic Business Libraries This resource created and maintained by Purdue University Libraries presents a merged list of the corporate annual reports held at twelve university libraries and can be searched by keyword or by university.
  • Historical Corporate Annual Reports Research guide. Check the section on "Historical Annual Reports for annual reports in print & SEC Filings on microfiche. Consult the Excel finding aid for specific annual report and SEC Filing-Excel Finding aid for microfiche collection.
  •  Note: The annual reports collection is housed in Columbia University Offsite facility and SEC Filings collection is available in Butler Library. Write down the barcoded number and date associated with the company annual report. Email the information to Watson Library business@library.columbia.edu and follow the instructions from the library staff. 
  • Reports must be requested in advance and be used in the library and advance appointment is required if visiting Butler Library for SEC Filings.
